Some examples include: self-empowerment affirmations, following your breath, practicing mindfulness, and many others.

Meditation can be done alone or with a group for as little as one minute every morning, night, or as you see fit. Try incorporating meditation into your daily, or weekly, routine, as you will feel the almost magical positive impact that it makes for upkeeping your mental health. 2. Yoga

Now of course, as we travel within the mind, body, and spirit train, we could never skip the Yoga stop. Yoga is responsible for a myriad of health benefits–increased stamina, muscle strength, higher energy, stress reduction and better respiratory health just to name a few. There are several different poses, or exercises, suited for all different skill levels. If you’re a beginner who’s just starting out, you can even choose a pose or two that you really enjoy and try setting aside a couple minutes when you wake up to perform.

It’s important to note that while yoga injuries can occur, carefully working at your own pace is key. Practice makes patience, and remember to always listen to your body.

3. Aromatherapy

For a quick and amazing pick me up, aromatherapy is arguably one of the easiest ways to achieve an overall boost of rejuvenation. Aromatherapy is the integration of aromas, primarily essential oils, to aid in psychological and spiritual well-being. Some ways you can do this is taking a drop or two of your favorite essential oil, whether it be rubbing onto the back of your hand or into a scentless candle to infuse the aroma, and just taking those whifs in.

Another great way to incorporate aromatherapy to create a balanced and stress-detoxing environment would be a humidifier, which infuses essential oils into the atmosphere via mist.
